After arriving on campus and shifting his focus to 运动科学, he spent a summer interning at a physical therapy clinic. The experience convinced Haro he could have a greater influence on people on a larger scale.

Haro later learned about professors who were conducting community-based research and sent introductory emails. After a face-to-face meeting, Osborne recruited Haro to her research team, and he spent the past couple of years 银河娱乐博彩ing into childhood injury prevention in communities.

Recently, Haro returned to campus after Commencement to wrap up a project 银河娱乐博彩 Osborne’s group – an immersive virtual reality home safety program for parents 银河娱乐博彩 young children in collaboration 银河娱乐博彩 KSU’s 计算机与软件工程学院. 这段经历将推动哈罗进入他的下一步，在乔治亚大学攻读公共卫生硕士学位。

Osborne said seeing her undergraduates move on to graduate school is a highlight of her job.
